Your Real Estate Career starts off with the cost to take the course which is about $500. The second step would be to take the state licensing exam at the cost of $44. Once you pass the test, you shall affiliate or partner up with a Broker then get your Maryland Real Estate license at the cost of $90. The license renewal is every two years.

The other annual costs that you need to budget include:

• Access to the keys in the secured lockboxes. SentriKey Service - $200-$300

• Become a REALTOR by being a member of a local association - $650-$850
